A native of Puerto Rico came to Buffalo in 1986 to attend SUNY Buffalo. Began to teach Spanish as an adjunct in 1996. Interpreted in immigration courts for 14 years. Has taught Puerto Rican history at UB. Loves baseball, music and to dance salsa.
